Asakura Keita, who once was rather a pedestrian teacher in a rural primary school, is so kindly and simple-hearted that even pupils could make practical joke on him. What he want is just having a peaceful and simple life and looking into starry sky. In short, he don't care about who contrals country's fate at all. But suddently, he stepped on a political way bewilderingly, what's more, swept the board in the election time and time again, at last, became the premier in very short time and won a high rating from nationals. A man who almost knows nothing about diplomacy becomes the best leader. WHY?
Great effort of his own, great help of supporting team, of course, but most important is his sincereness to the people.
1. Sever the people faithfully. That is easy to say, but difficult to do.
2. Face, admit, rectify, apologize for mistake. All are apt to trip, so called "lifeless, faultless", point is what to do with it.
3. Cherish great ideal. Create a hopeful future for our children, Asakura Keita said.
So much I've said. And then, What most impressed me is the idea of "one changes polity". Many people think polity is too far away from us, so they pay little attention on it. Actually, polity is around us, everywhere, everytime, such as, price adjustment, policy decision, and so on, which all relate to our benefit.
You must think these are policians' business, right? I once met a college student in Renming University, with whom we talked about persevere or abandon. I asked, just as you known, there are many unfairness in our country, you take great exception on them, but you have no power, in this case, what will you do, hold it or let it go? Unluckly, the answer is the latter one. I asked further, why don't you struggle for changing the bad situation? Answered, someone others will do it.
Most Chinese have the same opinion with this student's, I think, because Chinese culture honours peace, we hate fight in any style. But you forget one important thing, you have the RIGHT to make a decision. Yes, it's democracy. We are always longing for a democratic country serving MAJORITY, while pin our hopes on MINORITY? We are the certain host of this country. So PLEASE, treasure the vote in your hand, and believe, many ONEs are power which can change polity for ourself.
